Abstract: The methods for calculating the internal force and movement of the laterally loaded pile are briefly introduced. The static and dynamic tests are analyzed comparatively, and there comes a conclusion that the critical loading of the single pile loaded laterally can be determined by means of the dynamic testing method in Luoyang area. Thus the allowaable lateral bearing capacity of pile can be obtained.
