Abstract: Through an analysis to the features of the regional geology structure, the engineering geology and the hydrology geology of the first-phase project of Wuhan NO. 2 subway line, the basic content and method is showed for geotechnical engineering investigation to the different method for the subway construction under the different physiognomy unit and the different geological condition. In addition, it is pointed out that the features of subway investigation which is different of the general industry and civil construction investigation in aspects on location condition, investigation request and test content. The investigation implementation can be plan reasonably according to these featuers.
