An Example of Composite Foundation With Driven Cast-in-place Piles,Deep Mixed-in-place Piles and Cushion
1999, 13(2): 3-7.
Abstract:
An engineering example of composite foundation with the driven cast-in-place piles, deep mixed-in-place piles and cushion is introduced. The important role of the cushion in composite foundation and the problems to be noticed in the calculation of foundation settlement in Shenzhen Area are pointed out.
Discussion on Some Problems in Settlement Control of Cement-soil Composite Foundation
1999, 13(2): 8-11,16.
Abstract:
Based on the engineering experience of cement-soil composite founlation, it becomes more and more acceptable to design composite foundation in accordance with settlement control. In this paper serveral problems are studied, which conclude varying parameters for composite foundation, determination of pile length in deep soft soil, selection of cushion.
Comparison of Foundation Treatment Schemse for Tall-storey Residence at Beijing Textile Machine Factory
1999, 13(2): 12-16.
Abstract:
On the basis of the design and surrounding conditions, the schemes of backfill soil foundation are discussed, and a reasonable method is determined. The short and long CFG pile composite foundation will be a better method in the future according to the results of load test and settlement observation.

Time Series Analysis of Lateral Displacement for Retaining Structure in Deep Excavation
1999, 13(2): 21-25.
Abstract:
Based on the project samples of deep excavation in Wuhan region, the model is imitated by the time series analysis. The AR(n) model is set up for the lateral displacement of the retaining structure for the deep excavation, and the its displacement is predicted. The results are satisfactory.
In-situ Testing Study of Active Area Soil Pressure of Pile-anchor Protection in Deep Pit
1999, 13(2): 26-29.
Abstract:
Through the in-situ test, the active area soil pressure distribution of pile-anchor system for deep pit is studied in this paper. Based on the finite element method and centrifugal test, the design-calculation model of active area soil pressure is given for moderate hard clay in deep excavation
Experimental Study of Perpetual Antifloation Anchored Pile at Parking Building of Capital International Airport
1999, 13(2): 30-33.
Abstract:
Through the experimental study of perpetual antifloating anchored pile which is applied in the construction of the parking building at the Capital International Airport, the main problems to be noticed and their solving methods are put forward in their construction.
Pile-foundation Capacity Analysed by Bayes Probability Method
1999, 13(2): 34-38.
Abstract:
The paper points out that the probability analyses only to use a design model is not perfect. In connection with the characteristics of pile design, a new method of probability analysis is proposed according to the advanced Bayes' theorem, and the calculation of a project example is given
Design and Construction of Deep Mixed-in-place Piles
1999, 13(2): 39-40,47.
Abstract:
Some existing problems are discussed in the design and construction of deep mixed-in place pile at present, and some proposals are put forward.
Elastic-plastic Analytic Solution for A Super-long Pile under Axial Load
1999, 13(2): 41-43.
Abstract:
Based on the mechanism of load transference for super-long piles, the some problems to be noticed in their design are pointed out, and the better proposals are given.
The Reason for Foundation Crack of A Building
1999, 13(2): 44-47.
Abstract:
On the basis of the detailed investigation on a building site, the expansive and compressive mechanism of the third clay and fourth one in the site is discussed and appraised by the microcosmic analysis methods, such as X-diffraction, differential heat analysis, transmission electron microscope etc, and general indoor experimental methods of hydrological properties. The fracturing pattern of a building on expansive soil foundation and the geotechnical conditions of building crack are expounded, and their internal and external factors are analysed.
Drawing and Application of Compacting Quality Control Figure for San Gorge Weathered Sand
1999, 13(2): 48-50,55.
Abstract:
The weathered sand is weathered from the granite in the San GOrge. Because of the different weathered degrees and the unstable particulate grade, it belongs to a kind of inhomogeneous material. The mathematical model for its maximum dry unit weight ρd max and the content ρ5 of coarse particle is established through the compacting test on the weathered sand. The figure of the three-factors, namely, compactnessd D, in-situ dry density ρd and content ρ5 of coarse particle is given. Through the engineering application in the past three years the good result has been obtained.
Stress Distribution of Anisotroy Foundation under Nonlinear Load
1999, 13(2): 51-55.
Abstract:
The analytic formulas of stress in anisotropic soil under the nonlinear loaded area are derived. The influence of nonlinear loaded area and the anisotropy of soil on stress distribution is discussed.
Method to Measure Precisely Central Position of Circular Object
1999, 13(2): 56-58.
Abstract:
For measuring the central position of circular object with the total-station device or the mekometer, this paper presents two kinds of methods, namely, coordinate method and direction-distance one, and derives their calculating formulas.
