During construction,intensity parameters of unsaturated soil have some changes,but some mechanical indexes of original stated soil are adopted in design,which must be bring about some errors.In order to resolve this problem,Some triaxial tests to simulate the practical stress paths of unsaturated soil are introduced,the affection and changed properties of cohesion and inner frictional angle of unsaturated soil disturbed by construction is researched.On the basis of research,the reasons of these changes is analyzed.

The distribution of lateral fricrion of single pile is deduced by using bilinear model.And the settlement of single pile is calculated by MINDLIN elastic theory.Through the method mentioned above,a series of analytical solutions of the settlement of composite piled foundation are deduced.The calculated results can be used directly in analyzing the settlement of single pile.

Analysis of Methods to Determine Compressed Layer's Thickness in Calculating Foundation Settlements

Abstract:
There are mainly two methods to determine compressed layer thickness in calculating foundation settlements,control strain method and control stress method.Through comparing results of foundation settlement calculated by using the two methods,it is found that control strain method is not reasonable in determining compressed layer.And it resulted from the reason that the thickness of compressed layer determined by control strain does not put relationship with additional stress under foundation.The method to determine the thickness of compressed layer is suggested.

Abstract:
Based on the large quantities of geological survey materials of Lianyungang area,a series of problems about the soft soil are studied,such as the type of formation cause,the physical characteristics,the indoor experiment,the local experiment and the confirmation of mechanical indexes in particular.The result shows,there are some errors in confirming the mechanical indexes of soft soil by indoor experiment,somtimes the value confirmed by indoor experiment is twice as big as that confirmed by local experiment,which is difficult to handle.Vane test or CPT is suggested to confirm the mechanical indexes of soft soil.

Abstract:
With the methods of summing settlement in divided layers and finite element method,the total settlement and the settlement caused by different load level in this sea bank are analyzed.In order to accelerate the process of drainage consolidation,the plastic drainage plate and the process of loading in different level are designed for the sea bank's soft soil ground base,which makes the degree of consolidation satisfied in the appointed time.

Aiming at the fuzziness existing in the zoned limit of slope stability,the multi stage fuzzy classification polymerization method is established by fuzzy mathematics.The calcuating method and procedure of two stage fuzzy classification polymerization in assessing the slope stability zoning is introduced.By using the two stage fuzzy classification polymerization,the slope stability type in accordance with the stability of the slope district of an area is selected. The comparison of this method with the calculating result of other assessment methods shows,the application effect of the fuzzy classification polymerization method is better than any others,it is a simple,rapid and good method.

Based on the analysis of the structure characteristics, influencing factor to the mechanical properties, the data of field surveys and indoor studies, the bolcky structure rock mass is classified and the relative sample element is built. The FEM is used to simulate the field large-size trail. The mechanical parameters of each sample element on the base of the mechanical parameters of block mass are abtained.
