Abstract

Abstract

The history and present application of soil microstructure tests are reviewed. Focusing on currently main soil microstructure test methods, the key techniques and theories are introduced, and the scope of application, as well as the pros and cons are pointed out separately. The deficiencies in parameter extraction, dynamic observation and structure parameters are proposed, and some proposals are submitted.
