  • A goaf is proposed as the ground of a new high-rise residential area. The stability of coal mine goaf is determined synthetically by mining conditions and surface movement deformation. Engineering analogy method, goaf feature discrimination method, activation influence factor analysis method, surface residual deformation discrimination method and other methods were used to determine the suitability of goaf site construction. It is suggested that flexible measures to absorb surface subsidence deformation and rigid measures to resist surface subsidence deformation should be adopted to ensure the safety of the proposed building.
