Experimental Study on Bearing Mechanism of Bored Pile in Soft Clay

  • Reinforcement gauges are installed in main steel bars of the bored pile in soft clay. By means of static loading test, the character of loading-settlement is investigated. At the same time, the developing process of axial force, lateral friction and tip resistance are obtained, and settlement of the pile is analyzed and calculated based on the experimental data. So some beneficial conclusions are obtained.
