Chemical Mechanism Analysis on Lime Improvement for High Speed Railway Loess Filling

  • Based on the.soil improvement testing results of loess filling in one Passenger Dedicated Line Project, the chemical mechanism for lime improved soil is investigated. It is pointed out that the improved loess is qualified as filling material for subgrade of the high speed railway project, and the major task of the rail improvement tests is to determine the economic rational mix ratio as well as the optimum water content.
