  • An evaluation of current design methods of composite foundation of gravel pile for the liquefaction resistance is presented.Also,an overview of cons truction techniques is briefly discussed.Based on analysis effectiveness of grav el pile for the resistance of soil liquefaction during earthquake,the effects of densification,drainage and seismic reducing should be included in a proper liqu efaction-resistance design method.
