On the basis of the Specification of Foundation Design for the Ground of Buildings(GBJ_7-89), some generally concerned topics about the determination of bearing capacity of the ground, such as the concept of bearing capacity of the ground, the determinating methods, the comparison between the old and new Specifications about the bearing capacity, and the modification coefficient of regression are studied herein.
