Abstract

Abstract

Coefficient of earth pressure at rest is an important computation parameter in geotechnical engineering. The relation of K₀ and soil physics mechanics parameters is studied, and the methods of determining value of K₀ and some factors affecting precisely determine value of K₀ are analyzed, finally some suggestions are given to determine K₀.
