A deep excavation located at the soft soil area of Tianjin is taken as an example,which supporting pile with cast-in-place pile and SMW method.According to the monitoring results and on-site construction feedback,the combination support type can meet the requirements of foundation pit safety,effectively reduces the cost,significantly shortens the construction period and provides reference for the design and construction of similar foundation pit engineering.
