CHEN Hong-qi, WEI Yun-jie
2003, 17(5): 249-252.
Abstract:
For concrete engineering, the character of fault decides its engineering effect, they decide the engineering handling together. Through the formulation study in whole of fault engineering investigation、engineering effect and engineering handling, Studying the leading edge problem in the study of fault engineering effect. According to engineering practice, it is important to study the individuality model based on theoretical model for the fault engineering effect.
Study on Performance and Construction Technique of Red Sandy Rock in Expressway
DENG Jin-yu
2003, 17(5): 253-257.
Abstract:
The practice on embankment of existing expressway shows that red sandy rock is not a good filling material of subgrade with relatively low natural strength. It is easy to crash and disintegrate, which leads to strength reduction, when it is exposed to atmospheric environment or under drying and watering cycle action. However, red sandy rock exists and distributes widely in our country, especially in areas where mountainous highways locate.Through a lot of experiments, the physical and mechanical properties and the performance of red sandy rock are discussed. Also, some disposal procedure and construction technique which should be adopted when red sandy rock is used as subgrade filling material are putted forward, the core of which is "pre-crack and decompose-rake and compress-grind and compress".

2003, 17(5): 261-264.
Abstract:
The quality inspection for the foundation treated by dynamic consolidation is Very important. The inspecting principle and field inspecting technique with transient Rayleigh wave method are presented. The practial application of transient Rayleigh wave method in the quality inspection of foundation is introduced.
Model Experiment for Ultimate Bearing Capacity of Foundation Made by Artificial Frost-thawed Soils
WANG Gui-hu, ZHOU Hong, HU Pu
2003, 17(5): 265-267,275.
Abstract:
In order to reduce the bad effect of freezing method and extend its application scope, through model experiment, studying the changing principle of ulimate bearing capacity of foundation made by artificial frost-thawed soils. The results provide a scientific basis for the design of foundation made by artificial frost-thawed soils.
Special Stratum of West Trunk Canal in Xinjiang Division Water
LI Wan-kui, HAI Lai-ti, LIU Xiao-qin
2003, 17(5): 268-271,285.
Abstract:
Swelling soil and salinizd soil are special stratum of Xinjiang Yin Er Ji Ker West trunk canal, they harm the engineering project because of their swell-shrink characteristics during construction. So the distribute feature, swell-shrink characteristics and the affection of the special stratum to the engineering project are researched deeply.
The Application of High-density Resistivity Method in Embankment Seepage Reconnaissance
ZI Min, GENG Dong-qing
2003, 17(5): 272-275.
Abstract:
Introducing the application of High-density Resistivity Method(HDRM) in Kaijiafen embankment seepage reconnaissance in Huairou county, Beijing. Expounding the fundamental principle, application and data analysis of HDRM. According to the analysis of this article, HDRM is widely used in reconnaissance.
Analysis for Deformation of Soft Ground and Embankment
SUN Hong-lin
2003, 17(5): 276-280,293.
Abstract:
Based on the observation data of the settlement and the deformation in the soft ground and the embankment, the main characteristics of railroad subgrades settlement treated with different methods are analyzed. Besides, the effects of railroad base settlement on the deformation of the improved soil embankment are discussed.
The Research Of Infiltrating Regulation Under Rainstorm
ZHANG Shi-lin
2003, 17(5): 281-285.
Abstract:
Basing on Green-Ampt Model, and taking the small-angle slope made of dry soil that according with Green-Ampt infiltrating model as object, its infiltrating regulation under heavy raining intensity is studied. It puts forward the infiltrating formula including gas pressure making use of Green-Ampt Model, and gets the real infiltrating formulas under the constant raining intensity. Then it combines with the overland flow formulas to get the numerical modeling of infiltration and overland flow under heavy raining intensity.
The Experimental Study on the Optimal Ratio of Added Lime in Expansive Soil of He-Xu Expressway
GU Zhong-hua, GAO Guang-yun, CUI Ke-rui
2003, 17(5): 286-288.
Abstract:
Researching on the characteristics of expansion and shrinkage of expansive soil modified by lime, the increment of strength of lime treat soil. The relation of ratio of added lime and unconfined compressive strength is obtained. The idea that during the construction of subegrade through expansive-soil area different optimal ratios of added lime should be ascertained respectively in different segments is proposed. It will be beneficial to subgrade consruction.
