2013, 27(5): 217-221. doi: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-2993.2013.05.001
Abstract:
The ancient seawall is utilized for preventing flood and tide at the Qiantang Estuary more than two hundred years. The phenomenon of soil flowing have been found at the toe of part seawalls. It is so necessary to select the reasonable reinforcement and keep the ancient seawall style scheme to reinforcing the seepage in foundation for protecting the ancient seawall. In this paper, taking Zhejiang Haining some ancient seawall based on the experimental section. We have researched four foundation seepage reinforcement schemes by field testing. We comparised of these schemes by the finite element computation, field permeability testing, excavation testing, and monitoring the deformation during the construction period. We analyzed and summarized the advantages and disadvantages of each reinforcement scheme. We know that the scheme of rotating jet grouting at the toe in foundation by restructuring part of machinery is more suiter then others. The research results will have important reference value for selecting the reinforcement scheme when the next step of Qian Tang river riverside ancient seawall protection engineering come.

2013, 27(5): 234-237,258. doi: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-2993.2013.05.005
Abstract:
In the planning of urban underground space, the construction and maintenance of underground pipeline is very important. To achieve this, it is essential to acquire the information of the underground pineline, and the detection of the pineline is necessary, the difficulty of which is the detection of non-metallic pineline. To non-metallic pipeline with hard material and big diameter, the drilling method has been used to detect it.Based on the drilling method, two-drill method has been studied for determinating the center and depth of non-metallic pipeline. A software package has been developed and evaluated by practical applications. Results has shown the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Tang Guoyi, Xia Yuyun, Liu Zhenghong
2013, 27(5): 248-251. doi: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-2993.2013.05.008
Abstract:
Coral sands, one kind of the coral clastic soil,is a special soil with the properties of porosity, weak rigidity and friable.Because coral reefs only exist in tropical skerry and far away from mainland, there are fewer researches about coral reef rock or soil and it is not mentioned in current Chinese standards.Based on real project in Timor-Leste,this paper discusses some engineering behavior of coral sands.Depended on the in-situ test results such as SPT and drilling shear wave velocity test and using the current evaluation methods for engineering properties of quartz sands for reference, the strength properties and seismic liquefaction characteristics of coral sands are discussed.Compare with the quartz sands, coral sands has a lower SPT blow count with higher shear wave velocity, and there is a high risk of liquefaction on coral sands.

Li Jianbin, Kang Xuetao, Xia Feixue
2013, 27(5): 252-255. doi: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-2993.2013.05.009
Abstract:
The rising of fill moisture caused the foundation collapsible sinking. Meanwhile, the steel pipes of carbon rotary kiln bending effected normal operation of the line. Using the cement water glass slurries and inclined hole, we grouted in layers to the middle fills of the dust sedimentary chamber. Based on the bottom-enlarged grouting piles which are longer than original piles, we reinforced the foundation of rotary kiln. All the above prevented the sinking of the foundation and up to now the rotary kiln worked very well.

2013, 27(5): 263-266. doi: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-2993.2013.05.012
Abstract:
Based on the result of the micro steel tube pile test, it shows that the dosage of the cement and gravel in micro steel pipe piles during foundation reinforcement construction, and the key to guarantee the reinforcement effect by the secondary grouting. The micro steel tube pile head seems like a expanded pin in rubble filled region, which can obviously increase the pile and the bearing capacity of foundation, and reduce subsidence as well.
