2016, 30(1): 12-19,38. doi: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-2993.2016.01.003
Abstract:
The main characteristics of deep filled foundation in hilly-gully regions are complicated topographic and geomorphic conditions, complex geological environment, accompanied with large area of collapsible loess and soft alluvial soil, massive earthworks volume, various influencing factors and limited construction period. The problem of stabilization, sedimentation, drainage, slaking distortion-controlling,slope protection and so on is involved in the construction of loess high fill foundation. The practice in dealing with the problem of the deformation and stability of deep cut and deep filled foundation in the hilly-gully regions of loess plateau are introduced by taking typical projects for example. The construction methods consist of comprehensive evaluation of engineering geological conditions, optimizing the excavation-fill balancing, constructing the effective underground water drainage system, reinforcing of the original foundation soil by dynamic compaction, compacting(or dynamic compacting) of the loess filling, effective treatment of the fill slope and the cut slope, controlling the construction with quality inspection by three-dimensional method, and evaluation of the deep filled foundation condition by geotechnical engineering monitoring throughout construction period etc.The key techniques can also be used to similar projects as reference.

Zhang Kuangcheng, Zhu Jiebing, Chen Ming
2016, 30(1): 20-23,45. doi: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-2993.2016.01.004
Abstract:
A high slope, with height up to 44 m and length up to 2600 m,was filled with the rock-soil mixture material of weathered granite blocks and residual soil after dynamic compaction in Zhuhai.China.The design of slope needs the shear strength of the mixture material. The large-scale in-situ direct shear test was carried out and the strength parameters are as follows:angle of internal friction φ=38°,cohesion c=101.4 kPa,angel of internal friction and cohesion between fill material and natural ground,φ=39.1°,c=108.9 kPa,respectively. The special research on the mixture material shows large cohesion values after dynamic compaction. It can be explained that granite rock-soil mixture material total cohesion consists of the shear cohesion of strong weathered rock, the residual soil's original clay cohesion and the stabilized cohesion after compaction.

2016, 30(1): 24-27. doi: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-2993.2016.01.005
Abstract:
In this paper, the relative density of 34%,78%of the sand foundation bearing capacity on the basis of centrifugal model test round, the basis of size effect on the relative density of phase with the variation of quantitative discussions to determine the density and stress level sand foundation dependent coefficient and scale effect based on the width limits of specific correspondence.Through this study,to determine the stress level dependence coefficient, based on the scope and size effect of the specific density of sand foundation correspondence. In the capacity tests, according to different density of the foundation, choose a different base size in order to avoid the scale effect. At the same time the basis for the existence of size effect of situation can also be used to compare the test results this exact amendment to eliminate the scale effect.

2016, 30(1): 28-32. doi: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-2993.2016.01.006
Abstract:
The drillhole histogram drawn by traditional method are usually limited to specific software platform, such as AutoCAD,and are difficult to achieve cross-platform and network application. In this paper, through the design of general drillhole data model and the design and implementation of algorithm on filling drillhole histogram with the lithology pattern, the drillhole histogram data set including vector graphics and graphic description attribute is created. The data set is stored by standard data exchange format which is independent of programing language and software, can be applied to a variety of application platform, such as local desktop applications,PC internet and mobile internet, can achieve the "write once, run anywhere" goal of cross platform application. This paper takes a pratical project as an example to introduce these contents.

2016, 30(1): 33-38. doi: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-2993.2016.01.007
Abstract:
In this paper,an alumina plant site in Baode County of Shanxi Province is taken as an example. It shows that this area is mainly Quaternary Holocene(Q_4),the Pleistocene(Q_3) and the Pleistocene(Q_2) of aeolian and talus deposits, particles are mainly composed by fine sand and silt(particle size 0.25~0.01mm),by processing, counting and analyzing of 648 set of experimental data and combining with the engineering geological conditions of local. In which the thickness of loess layer is 15~30 m,collapsible type is self weight collapsible, collapsible grade is Ⅱ~Ⅲ,it is a middle-serious collapsible loess ground. The difference of the mechanical properties is great in the natural state and saturation state, therefore, the loess layer is hardly entirely cleared up by general measures. The use of immersed tube into the holes and hammer secondary Compacted Piles are ableto handle all of the loess and the effect is well.

Abstract:
The ancient architecture is the common wealth of mankind, for the construction of ancient buildings, the construction technology, building materials and modern architectural differences, coupled with the old,so how to protect the ancient architecture has been the common problem in engineering field.China's ancient architecture mainly uses the stone masonry, wood structure, the city wall structure, mainly by the rock structure, but also to earth up,the main reason is convenient for construction, long construction time;for,as well as the destruction of mankind, the stability of the rammed earth buildings are now facing a severe test. There have been different views about how to accurately evaluate the stability of existing rammed earth structure.Through the research of the ancient city of Hebei province, the ancient city wall and the structure of the Great Wall station, the author put forward own views on the stability calculation of this kind of rammed earth construction, and is willing to discuss and study with colleagues.
