  • The ancient architecture is the common wealth of mankind, for the construction of ancient buildings, the construction technology, building materials and modern architectural differences, coupled with the old,so how to protect the ancient architecture has been the common problem in engineering field.China's ancient architecture mainly uses the stone masonry, wood structure, the city wall structure, mainly by the rock structure, but also to earth up,the main reason is convenient for construction, long construction time;for,as well as the destruction of mankind, the stability of the rammed earth buildings are now facing a severe test. There have been different views about how to accurately evaluate the stability of existing rammed earth structure.Through the research of the ancient city of Hebei province, the ancient city wall and the structure of the Great Wall station, the author put forward own views on the stability calculation of this kind of rammed earth construction, and is willing to discuss and study with colleagues.
