    Abstract
  • The landslide reason and mechanism of an impounding soil dam are analyzed, and the results show that the unhomogeneous soil structure and water seepage are two important influencing factors on the dam stabilization. Some suggestions and treatment methods are given for the construction and management of similar impounding soil dam.
