Re-recognition of the Soil's Anisotrophy
Zhang Kunyong, Yin Zongze, Xu Zhiwei
2004, 18(1): 1-4.
Abstract:
There is essential difference between the soil's inherent anisotropy and induced anisotrophy. The explaination based on elastic and elastic-plastic theory to anisotry is analysed. It can be drawn from the result of true-triaxial test that induced anisotrophy has much influence on soil's behaviour,so enough consideration should be taken when making numerical analysis on soil.

2004, 18(1): 5-7.
Abstract:
Based on the geostatistical theory and method, static water line is analyzed by the tool of variogram. Using the data measured in practical engineering, experimental variogram and theoretic variogram in different directions are obtained, and a synthetic variation index is put forward. The method of quantificational analysis on the data of rock and soil is presented.

2004, 18(1): 8-10.
Abstract:
Through analyzing the liquefaction zone development of the saturated sand caused by horizontal vibration distributing along depth,it is shown that the liquefaction occurs near the loading end and then develops faraway. The liquefaction development of the saturated sand increases with the increase of loading amplitude and loading frequency and the decrease of the modulus. In the frequency range considered, the deformation on the surface and the pore pressure increase with the increase of the frequency.

Stochastic Theory for Predicting Latitudinal Stratum Settlement due to the Tunnel Construction
Ji Yonghong
2004, 18(1): 16-18,34.
Abstract:
It is difficult to determine the angle of incidence β and the constringency of tunnel ΔR,when the latitudinal stratum settlement due to the tunnel constrution is calculated with the theoretical formula on the latitudinal stratum settlement, based on the mechanics of stochastic medium. It is analyzed how to determine the two parameters. And the theoretical formula on the latitudinal stratum settlement is checked by practice.

2004, 18(1): 19-22,42.
Abstract:
This paper proposes a beam*.spring*.foundation system model to analyze the respond and deformation of the shield tunnel under different load models. Some load models composed of distribution of soil pressure and water pressure are discussed.Furthermore, based on the example of the shield tunnel through the Yangzi River, the distribution of inner force and deformation difference under different load models are discussed in details, and some valuable results are presented.
Equivalent Stress Calculation Considering Rheology of Geogrids for Reinforced Walls
Xiao Chengzhi, Luan Maotian, Yang Qing
2004, 18(1): 23-27.
Abstract:
The geogrid-reinforced soil mass is regarded as a marco-homogeneity and anisotropy materials composed of the elasto-plastic soil and visco-elastic geogrids. The soil in the composite mass is of elasto-plastic behavior and its strength obeys the Mohr-Coulomb's criterion of failure while the creep behavior of geogrids is represented by rheological model with a series of a Kevin model and an elastic spring. The equivalent stress calculation of geogrids is established on the basis of fundamental of mechanics of composite material. The results considering rheology are compared with results gained by method with non-rheology.
the Horizontal Foundation Coefficient in Rheologic Soil Region
Kong Dezhi, Zhang Hui, Zhang Qinghe
2004, 18(1): 28-30,39.
Abstract:
The model of rheologic soil and the internal force and deformation of excavation are analyzed. The expression of the horizontal foundation coefficient and time in rheologic soil region is provided. According measure result of practical project, the variability of the horizontal foundation coefficient is analyzed. The variational law of the horizontal foundation coefficient is proposed.
Comparison on Pile Driving Effect between Driven Cast-in-place Tubular Pile and General Synchronous Pile
Wang Pengcheng, Zhu Xiangrong
2004, 18(1): 31-34.
Abstract:
The pile driving effects of driven cast*.in*.place tubular piles are analytically analyzed by making use of cylindrical cavity expansion theory, and by comparison with general piles, its superiorities in respect of disturbing soils are displayed. Because both its inner and external surface can bear friction, and it is hollow,so its bearing capacity is higher and pile driving effect is smaller than any kind else, and is worth being popularized.
Experimental Study on Bearing Mechanism of Bored Pile in Soft Clay
Gao Qiang, Yang Longcai, Wang Binglong
2004, 18(1): 35-39.
Abstract:
Reinforcement gauges are installed in main steel bars of the bored pile in soft clay. By means of static loading test, the character of loading-settlement is investigated. At the same time, the developing process of axial force, lateral friction and tip resistance are obtained, and settlement of the pile is analyzed and calculated based on the experimental data. So some beneficial conclusions are obtained.
