Abstract:
The finite element method(FEM) is usually used to calculate side displacement of retaining wall in deep excavation. Herein the interrelated theory of elasticity mechanics is opted for analyzing the side displacement of underground diaphragm wall. Based on analyzing several engineering test results on foundation soil by SPT, the ultimate bearing capacity of single pile is estimated. It is also compared to the results of vertical static loading tests. Then empirical formulas for estimating the ultimate bearing capacity of prefabricated single pile in Fuzhou district is put forward.

A synthetic assessment method that evaluate stability of rock slope is presented. Nine factors and their quantitative methods that control the stability of slope is analyzed. Abstract:
Borehole cast-in-place piles have many advantages,such as high bearing capacity of single pile,no noise with construction,no special equipment needed and so on. According to these, they have been widely accepted to foundation engineering. But this technique is much reliable to its construction method, hydrogeological and engineering geological condisions. If it is not considered any factor to use this technique, it must resulted in harmfulness. Based on analyzing the foundation settlement with Borehole cast-in-place piles of a seven-floor structure in Lanzhou, which is built on subsidence loess and man-filled soil,treating method of this harmfulness and its engineering practice are introduced.
